Halfway there
I finally managed to capture belly shots of my halfway triumph!

the 20-weeks jelly belly
In other news, this week was made an extra special one with:
- a good catch-up session with Mel (my once pen-pal from aussieland since 8 years ago), Nate (her hubs) and their latest addition to the family: baby Lucille. The last I met with Mel was 3 years back in London when she had just settled in there for work and it was so good seeing her again, and especially her gorgeous bub.

- My dearest BR & bestie cum future godma Jas taking time off (although it was about 2.5 hours vs. an entire day, hee hee) to help me de-clutter some shelves, loads of things to make space for baby chungkin’s cot. It was annoying initially, her just tossing out things I haven’t used yet or didn’t like, but indeed effective. I realized how much of a hoarder I was too, which is bad since I’m always saying that mil is a huge one, especially when it comes to old kitchen pots & pans :(
The Bo & I have really been enjoying our ‘reclaimed’ space & the new neatness thanks for Jas. He’s also requested & commissioned her to come help with creating some wardrobe space for baby soon. Looks like I will have to say bye to some clothes really soon – but all for a good cause nonetheless and I can’t express enough how much I really appreciate what you, BR, has done for us.
The temporary holding storage area for when baby cot arrives and new storage cabinets are built elsewhere in the room…
- An awesome night out, catch up session with the Queenies over a round of steamboat/bbq dinner followed by drinks & desserts at Hotel Intercontinental’s lobby. *burp* It was fantastic seeing Kris again, since he’s been based in Hong Kong for most of this year; and also laughing over the silliest of jokes, conversations and youtube videos with all of them. I really missed hanging out with them so much. Really appreciated that they bothered to dedicate almost 50% of the night brainstorming of potential baby names or nicknames too!
It was indeed a heartwarming moment to see how much the first baby in the group mattered to them and how much they fussed and took such good care of me. I love them!

P/s: Pardon the heavily pixelated photos via the iPhone, which is making me very very tempted to get a nifty compact camera for when baby boy makes his appearance …

welcome to my personal blog; a catalog of my life unadulterated - on the things we do, places we go to, stuff that inspires, bits of my pregnancy journey & first experiences at parenthood.
