We went to check out The Plain @ Craig Road today with the guys.

But I got too carried away carrying & playing with baby Matthew the moment I saw him that I forgot to take any note/food/place worthy photos for those who want a glimpse of it.

SORRY.

Well, to sum it up, the eggs (we ordered the Darling set) were perfectly poached eggs oozing liquid gold which were too good, albeit tad small if you’re one of those whose appetite can only be pleased with a good ol’ American breakkie (we ordered an additional Salami Ciabatta because we were still hungry for more…thumbs up to that too).

Coffee was good too (read: Smooth Genovese coffee) - could fight with f0rty h4nds in my opinion…

Ambience was cozy, some staff could have been more attentive to the waving hands for attention.

Liked that they had a nice comfy green couch by the entrance for those on the wait list.

Would we be back soon? Probably after checking out other brunch-worthy establishments…

And oh yes, they only accept cash at this one.
